Tickets

How much are tickets?

+
Monthly shows are $5 for Regular (10 AM – 3 PM) and $10 for VIP Early Access (9 – 10 AM). Mega weekends sell each Saturday block separately at $20 — Act One (10 AM – 1 PM), Act Two (2 – 5 PM), and the Afterparty (8 – 10 PM, elite high-end buying & trading social). Or bundle: $50 for the Saturday all-day pass (both acts plus the Afterparty — the deal), $30 for Sunday, or $150 for the Two-Day VIP Weekend Pass. The VIP Weekend Pass also unlocks the Saturday VIP Offsite Dinner at $500 per seat (10 seats, while they last).

What's the Saturday Afterparty?

+
An elite high-end buying and trading social — separate room, cocktail tables, two bars, 8 – 10 PM. Vendors on the Afterparty floor apply with high-end inventory only, so what’s on the tables is curated for serious collectors. Get in via a $20 Afterparty ticket, the Saturday all-day pass, or the Two-Day VIP Weekend Pass. 21+.

What's the VIP Offsite Dinner and how do I get in?

+
Saturday-night curated dinner with featured Magic artists, vendors, and partners — two tables of eight at a sponsoring restaurant. 10 paid seats at $500 each, sold first-come first-served and capped. To book, you first buy the Two-Day VIP Weekend Pass; the confirmation page (and email) gets a “Reserve a Seat” button that opens dinner checkout. Lost the link? Email conventions@hashtagarena.com and we’ll resend it.

Do I have to buy in advance?

+
No — we sell at the door. Advance pays you back at the mega weekend, where capacity matters and the Two-Day VIP Weekend Pass is the only pre-sale ticket that includes the Friday Social and the afterparty.

What does VIP Early Access actually get me?

+
First-pick of the floor before doors open to regular admission. Vendors are set up, inventory is fresh, and the floor is quiet. On mega weekends, only the Two-Day VIP Weekend Pass includes VIP early access on either day.

Can I get a refund?

+
Tickets are non-refundable, but they're transferable — the QR works for whoever shows up with it. Reach out before the show if there's an issue and we'll do what we can.

Doors and Entry

How does the QR ticket work at the door?

+
After purchase you'll get a unique QR code on the success page (and emailed when wired up). Show it on your phone — staff scans it once at entry.

What if I lose my QR?

+
Email conventions@hashtagarena.com with the name on the order or the Stripe receipt and we’ll re-send it.

Are there reentries?

+
Monthly: yes, with a hand stamp. Mega weekend segment tickets are valid for that one block only — Act One holders sweep at 1 PM, Act Two holders enter at 2 PM, Afterparty doors at 8 PM. To stay through the breaks and walk into the Afterparty, buy the Saturday all-day pass or the Two-Day VIP Weekend Pass — both cover all three.

What to Bring

What should I bring?

+
Cash and a debit/credit card (vendors take both). A backpack or tote for hauls. Sleeves and toploaders if you're hunting raw singles. Most vendors have supplies on hand if you forget.

Can I bring cards to sell?

+
Yes. ArchiveTCG runs the featured cash buy station at every show, and most other vendors will buy at the table too. Bring your binder or a stack and walk the floor.

Will there be grading drop-off?

+
Featured grading partners come and go per show. Check the lineup on the event page closer to the date.

Vendors and the Floor

What can I expect on the floor?

+
Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, and Riftbound. Slabs and singles for Pokémon and Magic; singles for One Piece and Riftbound. Standard tables, an artist row, and a premium anchor table at every show.

How do I apply to sell?

+
Use the vendor application. Standard, artist, and premium-anchor tables for the monthly, plus a single weekend rate for the mega weekend. Reviewed on a rolling basis.

Bar and Drinks

Is there a bar?

+
Yes. Hashtag Gaming Arena has the Battle Bar (beer and wine) for monthly shows. Mega weekends have two cash bars on the show floor.

Do I need ID for the bar?

+
Yes — bring a valid government ID if you plan to drink. The bar IDs at the point of pour, not the door.

Kids and Families

Is this kid friendly?

+
Yes. Kids 8 and under are free at monthly shows with a paying adult; older kids buy a regular ticket. The afterparty (Saturday 8–10 PM at mega weekends) is 21+.

Are strollers OK?

+
At the monthly show, yes — aisles are wide enough. At the mega weekend, strollers are welcome but the floor gets dense by mid-Saturday; a baby carrier is often easier.

Travel and Hotel

Where do I park?

+
Free self-parking at both venues. Hashtag Gaming Arena has surface parking on site. The Doubletree has a self-park facility (no valet).

Is there a hotel block for the mega weekend?

+
Yes — discounted blocks at the Doubletree open about eight weeks out. Details on the Travel and Hotel page when the block goes live.

I'm flying in. Which airport?

+
Dulles (IAD) — about 5 minutes from the Doubletree, 10 from the arena. Reagan (DCA) is ~30 minutes; BWI ~50 minutes.
